After Three Decades, Transition at McNulty's Chiropractic
After more than 30 years of dedicated service in the Bitterroot Valley, McNulty’s Mid-Valley Chiropractic is undergoing a significant transition. Bill McNulty, who founded the practice in 1993, has decided to retire due to health reasons following a shoulder replacement surgery. His commitment to providing compassionate chiropractic care has profoundly impacted countless individuals and families over the years.
A Legacy Built on Community Care
Bill McNulty’s journey has been marked by strong relationships. He has treated multiple generations, highlighting a unique bond with his patients that extends beyond mere professional interactions. He recalls working with one patient during her pregnancy, who has since returned with her own child—demonstrating the trust and care fostered in his practice.
“It’s been very good to me,” McNulty says regarding his practice. His heartfelt connection with the community has kept him engaged in various local events, and he expresses mixed feelings about stepping away. However, he prioritizes patient well-being over personal desire, emphasizing that it's crucial to hand over the practice to someone who will maintain the level of care his patients deserve.
Seamless Transition to New Ownership
Dave Hardin, an experienced chiropractor formerly based in Missoula, will take over the practice. Hardin has been working alongside McNulty and already knows many of the patients, ensuring a smooth transition. He stated that he shares McNulty's philosophy of building relationships with patients, which offers considerable peace of mind for both McNulty and his patients.
“Dr. Bill McNulty has built something really special here over the years, and I’m grateful for the trust he’s placed in me to continue caring for this community,” Hardin affirmed. His commitment to preserving the reputation of care at Mid-Valley Chiropractic aligns with McNulty's principles, pledging that existing patients will receive the same personal attention they have come to expect.
A New Name, But A Familiar Feel
Beginning mid-December, the clinic will operate under a new name, "Mid-Valley Chiropractic." Despite the name change and new signage, a shamrock will remain as a tribute to McNulty, maintaining a link to the beloved founder. Patients can expect the same professional and empathetic care that they have experienced under McNulty’s stewardship.
Hardin's broad experience, including a military background and many years of practice, assures the community that the legacy of expert chiropractic care will continue without interruption. This transition not only represents a change in ownership but also reinforces the longstanding commitment to exceptional chiropractic care in the Bitterroot Valley.
